I think the sound is perfectly reasonable. I'm totally in love with the 'acid house' cover. in the late eighties in NYC someone was leaving xerox's of a similiar large fly everywhere, no name no nothing. Also around that time it was in vogue amongst the hipsters to put out bootleg compilation tapes w/numbering. i've been listening to the LA November 87 show. Thanks for publishing.JIM HAYEShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17144855915509766862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1114164530348945365.post-63064940402194535682012-09-23T11:50:02.637-04:002012-09-23T11:50:02.637-04:00dude i've heard the 1983 demos and they sound ...dude i've heard the 1983 demos and they sound like the legit spot demos (at least all of them except I hate my job, which could've just been added unwittingly). the black flag mockeries at the beginning of "radical west" and "matchstick" seem to conclude that they are at least 82-83, and i'd bet that these were knowingly put in to test spot and the sst people in jest.patrickwolkoffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10425863211442723252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1114164530348945365.post-56178812087197077402011-06-05T22:38:49.529-04:002011-06-05T22:38:49.529-04:00Ah, The Spot Demos!

Jello must've had a tape of it.<br />Thanks for solving the mystery!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1114164530348945365.post-73873297511461264012009-09-02T02:41:55.859-04:002009-09-02T02:41:55.859-04:00Ah, tricky... consolidated posts >:)
