It's sometimes difficult to see many positives about the 1993 tour fer some of we older fans...Gibby was in the throes of addiction, the package tour with Stone Temple Pilots meant larger venues, and disinterested alterna-rock douchebags talking throughout the Buttholes sets...

But, with the benefit of time, ya may be able to leave some of that baggage aside and just listen to the music.

Here is a MASTER Soundboard Recording(!!) that has NEVER circulated prior to this here post. It is a perfect mix, and one of the better shows from this tour...

An A+ mix, and a thoughtful transfer from yers truly means ya get what may be considered the live album that never got released...

LET'S KEEP IT THAT WAY, please...

  3. I saw this tour when it passed through San Antonio at Sunken Gardens. Firehose opened, and the hole show was bad ass. Gibby mocked STP mercilessly. I was new to Austin then, and although I had loved the BHS since the early 80s, this was my first or second time to see them live. I have seen them many times since then, some better, some worse, but this tour has a special place in my heart. Thanks for the post.

    Thanks ,
